OBP Conducts Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support

The Philippine Red Cross-Rizal Chapter Mandaluyong City, in partnership with Offshore Business Processing Inc., conducted a training session on Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support - cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with automated external defibrillator (AED) on August 15-18, 2023 at OBP 18th Floor Conference room.

The primary goal of the activity was to equip the participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to respond effectively and confidently in emergency situations needing the abovementioned first aid and life support. The training covered basic principles of safety and emphasized the importance of occupational safety during various activities.

To reinforce these skills, participants engaged in hands-on practice and simulations throughout the training.

A total of 17 employees have actively participated and are now fully capable of responding to occupational hazards and cardiac emergencies with basic first aid and basic life support.
