CSR Activity with PAWS

Offshore Business Processing (OBP) recently joined forces with the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) for a community service event. This partnership shows OBP's dedication to giving back and PAWS's mission to protect animals in the Philippines.

On May 25, 2024, OBP volunteers gathered at the PAWS Animal Rehabilitation Center in Quezon City, a safe haven for many animals. This event showcased OBP's CSR initiative and highlighted the company's dedication to making a positive impact.

Committed to Doing Good

OBP, known for its top-notch offshore services, is committed to not only serving clients but also supporting social and environmental causes in the Philippines.

PAWS: Protecting Animals

PAWS is a non-profit organization that fights against animal cruelty and works to improve animal welfare. They have saved and cared for thousands of animals and pushed for better laws to protect them.

Making a Difference

The main goal of this CSR activity was to help PAWS care for rescued animals, raise awareness about animal welfare, and promote a culture of kindness and responsibility.

Spending Time with the Animals

During the event, OBP volunteers fed the shelter animals and learned about their rescue stories. They also spent time with the friendly cats and other animals at the center. OBP donated food and other essential supplies to support the rescued animals.

A Heartwarming Experience

TL Venus, one of the OBP volunteers, said, "As a pet lover, seeing these dogs and cats inspires me to adopt. I'm grateful to OBP for supporting such initiatives. Adopt, don’t shop.

Similarly, Rex, from Talent Acquisition team, shares his heartfelt motivation: "With seven dogs at home and a profound love for dogs, I understand the struggles firsthand. Witnessing the struggles of these animals, both dogs and cats, breaks my heart. So guys, come and donate to support PAWS and their noble cause."

OM Louel, another OBP volunteer, shared, "Growing up with dogs, I know the unconditional love they provide. Seeing the animals at PAWS reminds me of my pets. PAWS does incredible work in rescuing and advocating for animals."

Sharon from PAWS expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you to OBP for choosing PAWS for your CSR activity. Your support is invaluable. It helps us care for the animals and find them forever homes."
