Responsibilities
Client Specific Tasks:
The main responsibilities and duties of the role are:
Assisting with preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, Partnerships, Trusts, Companies and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF)
Assisting with the preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS)
Assisting clients with payroll compliance
Assisting clients in processing adjusting journals data on their internal systems
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
Equivalent Bachelor of Business/Commerce majoring in Accounting
2+ years of experience in accounting
Experience using Xero, MYOB or BGL SimpleFund360 – highly regarded
AU experience is an advantage
Excellent written and Verbal skills
Attention to detail
Team player
Must be a team player and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, with positive attitude and strong work ethic
Excellent English language communication skills – both verbal and written
